Thank you for your inquiry on one of our vacation condominiums. Each of the units is listed on its own page, detailing availability, rates and furnishings. Since we often use these condos ourselves they are furnished to a much higher standard than most rentals. They also contain many of the little things most often missing in rentals. All condos have high quality linens and bedspreads for all beds. There are also high quality towels as well as beach towels (Excelsior condos only) in all units.

Location: Sarasota is located about 1 hour south of Tampa/St.Petersburg on the West coast of Florida on the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. There are numerous International airports close to Sarasota. In Sarasota is the Sarasota/Bradenton International airport. Tampa/St. Petersburg is located about 1 hour north on I-75. Orlando is about 2 hours northeast on I-75 & I-4 and Ft. Myers is about 75 minutes south on I-75. Fort Lauderdale and Miami are about 3 hours southeast on I-75. If you are going to rent a car then just fly into the airport that gives you the least expensive ticket. For you in the colder North, Tampa/St. Petersburg is usually the cheapest.

On May 26, 2011 Dr. Stephen Leatherman (Dr. Beach) ranked Siesta Beach as #1 in the Nation after spending the last two years as #2. "The quartz sand is like sugar" Leatherman said. "It's Super Soft and Super Fine", it doesn't blow around and doesn't get hot. On April 6, 2003 a Travel Channel (Part of Discovery Networks) film crew shot footage on the beach for a 1 hour segment to be aired later in 2003. Siesta Beach was chosen to the "Elite" list by a panel of beach experts reviewing criteria such as cleanliness, sand quality and surrounding area. The secret of Siesta Key's sand is that the ancient sand crystals have been worn smooth over time. The sand is clean, powder soft to the touch, free of shell particles and cool on the feet. This is not the first time that Siesta Beach will win an award. In a USA Today poll Siesta Beach was voted one of the 3 top USA beaches. Conde Nast Traveller Magazine ranked Siesta Beach as being one of the "Best of the Best" in 1999. In 1987 the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution gave Siesta Beach the designation of having the "Whitest, Finest Beach Sand in the World", a title that still stands today.

By contacting me you will be able to take advantage of specials and last minute deals not available from the rental offices. The above discounts are individual and cannot be combined. These discounts cannot be combined with others the rental office may have. The highest discount will apply.
Rental offices have rules regarding payment of security deposits, advances, final payments, cleaning charges, taxes, etc. All these still apply. If your rental is discounted or if you rent less than 2 weeks in Excelsior a cleaning fee applies. Excelsior cleaning fee is $95.

If your rental in the Excelsior 2BR condo does NOT start and/or finish on a Saturday or Sunday AND there is no rental adjacent to your rental, there may be an additional charge, especially if there is a discount given. (ie- If you want a Wed-Wed rental for 1 week in all likely hood we will not be able to rent the Sun-Wed before your rental nor the Wed-Sat after your rental)

All condos are non smoking units.
